- KP Assistant, our website chatbot: the messages you send to the chatbot and, if you use its contact form, your name, email, phone number (optional), inquiry type, and project description.
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may also automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and performance purposes. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the quote or information you requested.
- To review and improve the accuracy and helpfulness of KP Assistant over time.
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of our website.
We do not add the information you provide to a mailing list automatically, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate our website and chatbot. Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices:
- Cloudflare: hosts our website infrastructure, processes chatbot conversation text (via Cloudflare Workers AI) to generate responses, and stores a copy of the conversation (via Cloudflare KV) so we can review and improve KP Assistant's answers.
- Web3Forms: delivers contact form and chatbot lead submissions to our email inbox.
Cookies & Tracking
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies for advertising or analytics on this website. A random, non-identifying session code is kept in your browser for the duration of your visit so your chatbot conversation can be matched to its stored copy. This is not a cookie, and it is cleared when you close the tab.
Data Retention
Chatbot conversations are stored for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted. Contact form and lead submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and provide our services, or as required by law.
Your Rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request that it be corrected or deleted, subject to our legal and legitimate business requirements. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children's Privacy
Our website is intended for a general business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
