What services does KP Glass & Aluminum offer?
We provide commercial glass and glazing, doors and windows, automatic door operators and entrance systems, aluminum fabrication for curtain walls and storefronts, custom solutions, and service and repairs. We also install accessibility solutions such as automatic door operators, barrier-free entrances, and accessible ramps and washrooms.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. Pricing depends on the type, size, and complexity of the project. We provide free estimates, so contact our team with details about your project and we will provide an estimate based on the specific work required.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), including Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, and surrounding communities within HRM. For projects outside that area, contact our team so we can determine whether the location and project scope are suitable.
How long does a project take?
Timelines vary depending on the scope of the project, product availability, site conditions, and scheduling. Smaller repairs may be completed relatively quickly, while larger projects involving curtain walls, windows, entrances, or custom ordered glass can require more planning and lead time. Contact our team for a timeline specific to your project.
What warranty do you offer?
Our warranty on workmanship is 1 year. Material warranties vary depending on the material. Our main product is Windspec, which carries a 2-year warranty from the date of invoice.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed and insured, we have Red Seal technicians, and we are AAADM certified for automatic sliding doors and door operators.
Do you handle permits?
Permits can be handled either way: by us or by the client.
Do you provide design, or work from existing plans?
We can do both. We can design your solution or work from plans provided by your designer or architect.
Who do you work with?
We work with a range of clients including general contractors, property managers, building owners, businesses, institutions, developers, and residential clients, depending on the type of project. Much of our work is commercial.
Is there a minimum project size?
We handle projects ranging from individual glass replacements and door repairs to large commercial glazing projects.
Can I see examples of your work?
We do not offer site visits or showroom appointments. You can view our featured projects on this page, and we regularly share completed projects, progress updates, and before and after transformations on Facebook and LinkedIn.
